Cykometrix is a SaaS based Assessment Company specializing in team optimizations. Leveraging correlations and data from hundreds of psychological research papers, we deliver dynamic, interactive reports illustrating the team strengths and weaknesses.

Our automated online service provides teams and management benchmarks and suggested training to cost-effectively promote team resilience, efficiency, and productivity.

Teams can leverage our service to quantify improvements in existing team dynamics using our native Pulse baselining methodologies, the optimal personal characteristics of new employees, and even suggest how to reorganize existing teams for maximum effectiveness.

Our Story

During the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, four experienced entrepreneurs, Sylvain Rochon, James Mackenzie, Ross Norrie and GJ Hagenaars, saw there was an urgent market need to measure team effectiveness.

The founders, having years of experience in psychology, business, and technology, knew the most important aspect of any successful company is its people and how they interact with each other to reach objectives.

Team effectiveness was something no existing online service could quantify, so they combined their collective strengths as a team to build a service that did exactly that.

The realities of the pandemic and the market shift to at-home online work means companies who want to excel must find decentralized services to improve their teams. Cykometrix is the solution every HR department has been looking for.

Right after service launch, the company drew the attention of major national human resource companies, angel investor groups, and training companies from multiple continents. Cykometrix staff are working hard to give those companies valuable consistent insights on their team’s productivity, their potential, and what training would be most valuable to get even better results.

Management team

James Mackenzie, Chief Executive Officer: Serial entrepreneur since a young age, he founded and co-founded six multi-million-dollar companies over the last decade in technology, pharmaceuticals and human resources sectors. James has a degree in psychology and continues to push the boundaries of the possible in successful team-building through startups. James is responsible for business development, partnerships, and increasing the value of our services to our customers.

Ross Norrie, Chief Technology Officer: Veteran of the IT and analytics markets, Ross has been starting and growing companies for the past 20 years. In 2000, he created AssetMetrix, an innovative subscription-based business intelligence system which was later sold to a well-known international firm. Ross holds several patents in software, reporting and analytics. For Cykometrix, he is responsible for the proper development and evolution of our services in the marketplace

Sylvain Rochon, Chief Marketing Officer: Sylvain has been a serial entrepreneur and master communicator in the entertainment software and multimedia industries for over 15 years. He is the author of one book and over 100 published articles on future economic and social changes. He has been teaching science, math, game design and emotional intelligence courses for over 20 years. Sylvain is responsible for visual and written messaging throughout the Cykometrix services.

GJ Hagenaars, Chief Science Officer: GJ has been involved in Ottawa’s high tech industry for over 25 years. Over the years, he has been performing multiple analysis tasks for crown corporations from gap analysis to mind mapping executive sessions, from improving SLA compliance to QA-ing enterprise software and has started multiple businesses of his own. GJ has a master’s degree in mathematics. At Cykometrix, GJ is responsible for the development of our algorithms and psychology research analysis.

Account Manager

We are seeking more ambitious people with experience finding new clients, maintaining the Cykometrix-client relationship, and helping clients use our services with maximum efficiency.

Requirements:
  • familiarity with SaaS business models
  • willing to work from home
  • fair understanding of the foundations of emotional intelligence
  • at least 5 years experience in business-to-business sales
  • experience as an independent sales consultant or as an account management team leader

Web developer

We need a creative web developer that can make our websites and services pop with graphics, dynamic tools and build into it an amazing user experience. We are looking for both front-end and back-end developers (or someone that can do both) to deliver our service to the world in multiple languages with e-commerce integrated.

Requirements:
  • intimate knowledge of SaaS website development
  • willing to work from home
  • fair understanding of the foundations of emotional intelligence
  • at least 5 years experience developing SaaS web projects (front or back-end, or both).
  • present active examples of SaaS project(s) you have worked on

SaaS Marketing Specialist

The candidate will be responsible of copywriting, designing B2B marketing campaigns and assisting the engineering team regarding UI/UX considerations.

Requirements:
  • intimate knowledge of SaaS website development
  • willing to work from home
  • fair understanding of the foundations of emotional intelligence
  • at least 10 years’ experience working for a successful SaaS company in a marketing role
  • candidate should show how his/her past engagements contributed to a company’s success
